Fairleigh Dickinson University. The largest private university in New Jersey, Fairleigh Dickinson University is an independent, coeducational, multi-campus institution. College of St. Elizabeth. Union County College. A world of educational opportunities await you at Union County College, a public comprehensive community college and member of New Jersey’s 19 county colleges. The oldest 2-year college in New Jersey, UCC has major campuses in Cranford, Elizabeth, Plainfield and Scotch Plains, and enrolls 10,000 full and part-time credit students and over 26,000 continuing education students.
