Morris Museum. The Morris Museum in Morristown elevates the cultural consciousness of the mind by advancing the understanding and enjoyment of visual and performing arts, natural and physical sciences, and humanities through exhibitions, performances and educational programs in a creative environment. Over 48,000 objects are on display, including decorative art pieces, toys and dolls, natural science exhibits, and fine art pieces. USGA Museum and Archives. The USGA Museum and Archives, home to the world's most extensive collections of golf memorabilia and literature, is located at the USGA headquarters in Far Hills, N.J. By collecting, preserving and interpreting the historical developments of golf in the United States and around the world, the Museum promotes a greater understanding of golf's cultural significance around the world.  [Top]
Macculloch Hall Historical Museum. An elegant Federal-style brick mansion, Macculloch Hall Historical Museum houses a fine collection of eighteenth and nineteenth century English and American decorative arts, as well as presidential china and oriental rugs. The museum is renowned for a major collection of drawings and prints by the famous political 19th century cartoonist Thomas Nast, who is remembered for his creation of the Republican elephant and Democratic donkey, and W. Parsons Todd's fine and decorative arts. The museum also features changing exhibits on Morris County and New Jersey history. Mcculloch Hall was built as a dwelling over 150 years ago and is situated in the historic district of Morristown. A historic garden, oriental rugs and presidential items can be viewed.
